Here are a few things you should know:
PAYMENT TIMELINE
CANCELLATIONS
If you need to cancel your order for any reason, you are free to do so at anytime - no hard feelings. Your initial payment is non-refundable because the money has already been spent on wood, glue, bandsaw blades, sandpaper and all of the other things it takes to keep my shop running. The progress payment (if applicable) will be returned for canceled orders once the guitar has been completed and sold to some other lucky person.
- Guitars are built one at a time on a first come, first serve basis.
- Getting on the waitlist means that you are getting in line behind other people who have been waiting even longer.
- Placing an order requires a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and holds your place on the custom-build waitlist.
PAYMENT TIMELINE
- DEPOSIT: $1,000 to Reserve a spot on the waitlist
- The first installment is a non-refundable consultation fee where we will discuss plans for your custom build. I will then begin to design your instrument, order materials, and devote creative energy toward your new guitar. Once your deposit has been received, it will not be returned because that money has already been spent.
- Specialty materials: any specialized additions that are not already in stock will need to be paid for upon ordering. This includes specialty wood and upgraded tuners, hardware, and electronics.
- PROGRESS PAYMENT: 50% of remaining balance
- Once the guitar is built and ready to go into the finishing booth, a progress payment will be due (50% of remaining balance)
- FINAL PAYMENT: Remaining balance + Sales tax & shipping
